Objectives:

  • Increase transparency and include stakeholder input to EOSC-Hub strategy planning
  • Introduce the scenario planning method used in strategy planning
  • Sharpen the focus of the strategy planning work, to match the stakeholder expectations

Abstract:

Scenario planning method has been used for articulating EOSC-Hub strategic direction, the different pathways that might exist for us tomorrow and finding the appropriate movements for each of the possible paths.
Scenario planning is a structured way for organisations to think about the future. It has been used by some of the world's largest corporations that have found out that predictions based on straight-line extrapolations from the past are misleading.
EOSC-Hub future scenarios are presented in this session for discussion. Also the current list of contents of the First EOSC-Hub strategy plan deliverable, due in M6, will be presented.  Does the presented strategy plan content meet stakeholder expectations?
