EOSC Projects EXPO Launched and Exhibitors Wanted!

Organised as part of the Realising the European Open Science Cloud joint event by the EOSC-hubFREYA and SSHOC projects, the EOSC Projects EXPO is the first virtual exhibition showcasing initiatives and projects of the European Open Science Cloud.

The EOSC Projects EXPO showcases some of the latest developments towards “realising a European Open Science Cloud” from the many initiatives and projects that are working together towards the same goal.

The exhibition, as a complement to the Realising the EOSC conference programme, is expected to be a platform gathering all the EOSC players together for four days of knowledge exchange, the creation of potential synergies, and networking.

The main event, which will run on four days, will offer the opportunity of all EOSC-related projects to showcase their results, learn more how to use the EOSC and FAIR tools for improving Open Science, as well as foster citizen science and collaboration with industry.

Who should attend

Researchers, libraries, e-Infrastructures, industries and data service providers, High Performance Computing centres, as well as standards bodies, policy makers, funding agencies and civil society interested in the EOSC developments are invited to join the event.

Call for Exhibitors

An Exhibition Hall accessible via browsers will showcase all the booths in an animated virtual environment. Each booth can host videos, posters, flyers, brochures and can host multiple representative exhibitors from your organisation answering questions from visitors through chat. Visitors will be given an e-briefcase to store all the material from the exhibitors and sent to the visitors via email. A virtual lounge will also be set up for people to network and meet each other.

If you are contributing to the development of the EOSC and would like to share some of your results, then you’re encouraged to apply as exhibitor.

Criteria of selection:

  • Booth should exhibit project results or initiatives and how they contribute to the EOSC.
  • Potential exhibitor should be an existing contributor to the EOSC initiative.
  • Relevance to the target audience of the expo.
  • Richness of the media to be exhibited.
