The International Advanced Research Workshop on HPC Computing will take place from 2 to 6 july in Cetraro, Italy.
The main aim of this workshop is to present and debate advanced topics, open questions, current and future developments, and challenging applications related to advanced high-performance distributed computing and data systems, encompassing implementations ranging from traditional clusters to warehouse-scale data centers, and with architectures including hybrid, multicore, distributed, and cloud models.
Giacinto Donvito, Technical Coordinator of the EOSC-hub project, will participate to the event with a presentation - The Evolution of the EOSC in the Context of the EOSC-Hub Project. The talk will describe the on-going activities and the roadmap for the evolution of the EOSC-hub service catalogue. It will highlight the role of the project in the context of the European Open Science Cloud initiative and how the foreseen activities matche the overall movement in the European context. A specific focus will be dedicated to how the scientific communities are driving and contributing to this process.
