The EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance projects are organising a webinar to bring together the national contact points of EGI (the NGI International Liaisons – NILs) and the representatives of the National Open Access Desks (NOADs).
The online event will take place on April 24th at 15:00 (CET) and is organised by Gergely Sipos, EGI's Customer and Technical Outreach Manager and part of the EOSC-hub Engagement team, and Najla Rettberg, OpenAIRE Network Manager. The webinar is open to all members of the NIL and NOAD networks and aims to strengthen national collaborations and synergies between local teams of the two projects. The initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration between EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance to increase the speed, quality and openness of science and to jointly work towards the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
Both projects rely on their local networks to support training activities, outreach and dissemination and this webinar is a great opportunity for both of them to benefit from a common understanding of national priorities and strong local collaborations.
The meetup will also include a short introduction to the newly established Research Data Alliance (RDA) Europe nodes. RDA nodes engage data communities, support national agendas, and aim to increase the uptake of standards and participation in RDA globally.
