EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance get together to support Open Science and the European Open Science Cloud initiative.

The EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance projects are organising a webinar to bring together the national contact points of EGI (the NGI International Liaisons – NILs) and the representatives of the National Open Access Desks (NOADs).

The European Commission recently adopted the Implementation Roadmap for the European Science Cloud. The document gives an overview of six actions lines for the implementation of the EOSC: architecture, data, services, access & interfaces, rules and governance.

The first EOSC-hub week is fast approaching - register now before the deadline closes this week! The registration deadline is Friday 6 April (midnight CET). The full programme of the events is now available.

The EOSC-hub project will host an event focusing on cloud solutions for science at the next Research Data Alliance’s plenary in Berlin (21-23 March). The EOSC-hub session (full title 'European Open Science Cloud-Related Projects: Liaison with RDA and New Contributions') will be held on the plenary’s final day.

The first EOSC-hub Week is around the corner. On 16-20 April 2018, Malaga (Spain) will host the two major events of the EOSC-hub Week: the Public Day (16-17 April 2018) and the "All Hands" Meeting (only open to EOSC-hub partners, 18-20 April 2018). The public day, sponsored by the EGI Foundation, the EUDAT CDI and the XDC project, welcomes the participation of service providers, research communities...

The EC-funded project EOSC-hub project started on January 1st 2018, bringing together an extensive group of national and international service providers to create the Hub: a central contact point for European researchers and innovators to discover, access, use and reuse a broad spectrum of resources for advanced data-driven research.
